ABC Dry Chemical extinguishers are constructed of steel and can be used to combat Class A (normal combustibles such as wood and cloth), Class B (combustible liquids such as gas and oil) or Class C (electrical) fires.

Multipurpose Class ABC extinguisher contains monoammonium phosphate dry chemical that is specially fluidized and siliconized. Chemically insulates Class A fires by melting at approximately 350°F. It smothers and breaks the chain reaction of Class B fires, and it is a nonconductor of electricity.
